Account Alert Step-by-Step Instructions

To Add A New Alert:

From the Accounts tab; click on New for DDA or New for SAV in the Alerts box (upper right hand corner):

  • Select an account Category (DDA or SAV) from the drop down box
  • Select an alert Type from the drop down box
  • Click Next
  • Fill in all the boxes
  • Click Finish
  • Displays a confirmation screen for your review
  • Click Done
  • Displays a screen with all of your alerts for the account type (DDA or SAV)
  • Click on X (bottom right hand corner) to return to Accounts tab

To Change An Existing Alert:

From the Accounts tab; click on DDA or SAV in the Alerts box (upper right hand corner):

  • Displays a screen with all of your alerts for the account type (DDA or SAV)
  • Click on the Edit Icon for the alert to be changed
  • Make changes in the boxes as needed
  • Click Finish
  • Displays a confirmation screen
  • Click Done
  • Returns you to the display screen with of all of your alerts for the account type
  • Click on X (bottom right hand corner) to return to Accounts tab

To Delete An Alert:

Go into the Alert Screen and click on the Delete "X" for the specific Alert you would like to delete.

To Send A Text Message Instead of an Email

Enter your 10 digit phone number followed by the vendor provided domain in the email address box. Text message fees may apply. Listed below are many of the provider's text message information that will be necessary.

Alltel

AT&T (formerly Cingular)

Special Notes:

  1. All alerts remain in effect for 999 days or until you delete them. (Exception: Check # Alert is deleted when the check clears.)
  2. Alerts are evaluated and sent to you hourly (7 days a week). (Exception: Check # Alert and Check $ Alert are evaluated and sent to you once a day -Monday through Friday, excluding bank holidays).
  3. Alerts are sent only once for each transaction. (Exception: You may be alerted twice if a check is cashed in person, then clears your account the following day.)
