Holdenried Joins American National Bank as Commercial Loan Officer, Assistant Vice President

(Omaha, Neb. -- December 15, 2011) - Jake Holdenried has joined American National Bank as commercial loan officer and assistant vice president. Holdenried previously served with U.S. Bank as a relationship manager and credit analyst, and with SITEL Corporation as a financial analyst.


Holdenried has a bachelor's degree in Finance from Creighton University, and he is a graduate of the Nebraska Bankers Association's Commercial Lending School. He is a member of the Creighton Young Alumni Advisory Board, the Alzheimer's Association - Midlands Chapter and the Risk Management Association - Midlands Chapter.

American National Bank Names Stevenson and Ulch Vice Presidents;
Arnold, Bingham, Cole and Orsborn Named Assistant Vice Presidents

(Omaha, Neb. -- November 30, 2011) - American National Bank has named Dena Stevenson and David Ulch vice presidents, and named Jim Arnold, Andy Bingham, Wade Cole and Christine Orsborn assistant vice presidents.

Stevenson joined American National Bank in August 2011 as the organizational development and learning manager. She has more than 17 years of experience in organizational development and training, including eight years in banking. Through her volunteer work with Future Force Nebraska, she received the 2010 Nebraska Career Education Distinguished Partner Award and the 2009 Nebraska State Business Education Association's Outstanding Contributions to Business Education Award. She has a master's degree in Adult & Continuing Education from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and a Senior Professional in Human Resources certification.

Ulch joined American National Bank in August 2011 as specialty lending group sales manager. He concentrates on business development for American National Bank's Metro Leasing Division and an array of financial services products. Ulch has more than 15 years of experience in the banking and financial services industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Wayne State College and is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth.

Arnold joined American National Bank in November 2007 and is the retail branch manager of the Ames and Harney branches. He is a winner of the bank's Diamond Club Branch of the Year award for excellent customer service. Arnold is involved with Omaha North High School and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

Bingham joined American National Bank in February 2011 as the cash management product development liaison in the Cash Management Department. His relationships with top-tier clients have helped with the implementation of new services and the expansion of existing services. Bingham has previously worked for more than 20 years in sales and marketing for IBM, AT&T, ACI and First National Bank. He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Cole, who joined American National Bank in July 2009, is the retail branch manager at the Lakeside branch. His branch was home to the bank's 2010 Teller of the Year. Cole volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. He has a Business Management degree from Bellevue University.

Orsborn joined American National Bank in August 2011 as quality control manager within the Loan Operations Division. Orsborn brings well-rounded experience to American National Bank, including 10 years of training and project management experience and more than 10 years of banking experience. Orsborn is a member of the American Society of Training and Development Nebraska Chapter and holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Bellevue University

American National Bank to Purchase Council Bluffs Locations of Liberty Bank

(Omaha, NE -- November 7, 2011) - American National Bank announced today that it has entered into an Agreement with Liberty Bank to purchase their two Council Bluffs, Iowa locations at 1230 E. Pierce Street and 2650 W. Broadway and the Loan Production Office at 320 McKenzie Avenue. The purchase is subject to regulatory approval.

American National Bank will assume all of the customer deposits and a majority of the loans. The purchase and conversion should be complete in early January. OMAHA, Neb. (Oct. 8, 2010) American National Bank and Peoples National Bank have recently appointed Kurt Grosshans to vice president of commercial lending serving the Lincoln market. Grosshans will office at the American National Bank branch located at 3801 VerMaas Place in Lincoln and will work to expand lending services in that market.

He is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and is a long-time member of the Lincoln community and financial services industry. Grosshans brings to American National Bank more than 35 years of experience in commercial and industrial lending as well as commercial owner-occupied and investment real estate.
